Artist statement
Tim loves and paints wild places, sea, mountains and deserts as well as buildings and landscapes in Devon. He uses watercolour and gouache, at times with pen and ink. Painting or drawing something makes him look carefully at it and to notice things. Sometimes he finds using a restricted palette gives a paradoxical freedom.
