Artist statement
Rachel, Sarah, Bob and Jon are local artist who met through the Artist Network Open studios last year at Rachels garden studio. They've forged a supportive creative hub and are excited to show together for the first time this year in the centre of Brixham. They will all be working in the pop up studio, come and see the range of work and try out a workshop!
Extended Bio
Rachel taught for many years in Oxfordshire and Asia. Her work is heavily influenced by her travels and her ability to immerse herself utterly in her environment. Recently she has developed her work to include the figure in landscape.
Sarah is new to showing her art in public. She enjoys working primarily in Acrylics with lots of bold colour.
Bob works predominantly in charcoal and pastel. Inspired by the natural, the distorted and the process.
