From Crediton, past the 'Sandford' sign, sharp right through the gate opposite the Millennium Green, park there and walk across the garden, alternatively for disabled access keep on the road, turn right into Mill Lane at the next junction, and come to the front door. Look for the ocre Tudor House.

Artist statement
I create nocturnal landscapes, skyscapes, and portraits, captured by the light of the moon, in forests, on beaches, and across moors, to reveal stories of transience and of human belonging. Abiding by the lunar cycle, seasons and weather, I follow a wish to be confronted by the depth of the sky and to feel held in the fold of something unimaginably vast.
Extended Bio
Hailing from Berlin and London, Netti Habel is now based in Devon. She was recently commissioned to produce the cover and press images for the solo album ‘Lives Outgrown’ by Beth Gibbons of Portishead. As a student at the Cass School of Art in London, Netti was awarded the prestigious Owen Rowley Prize. She has exhibited widely across England in group and solo shows, most recently in a screening of the portrait series ‘I Cling to the Sky’, chosen to coincide with acclaimed exhibition ‘Dartmoor: A Radical Landscape’ at Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM), Exeter, from September 2024 to March 2025. Her work is held in private collections in the UK and abroad.
