Artist statement
Using vintage hand tools, I cut, bend and weld them together to create the form of British wildlife. Taking inspiration from the River Exe and surrounding countryside, I attempt to create movement in my sculptures whilst also keeping the tools as recognisable as possible. I particularly enjoy watching peoples reaction as they start to identify them.
