Artist statement
Sculptor and environmental artist, living and working as sustainably as I can. Current bodies of work include carvings in stone of household objects, endangered species and the human form; abstracted by my signature sponge like rock formations.
Constantly exploring and reinventing I am also giving value to the waste I create in my work, and life, by casting stone dust with plastic fossils to make jewellery and surfaces to draw and print on.
Thoughtful, curious and highly original work which blends representation and abstraction, displayed in a beautiful garden setting.
