Artist statement
Having been a landscape gardener for forty years most of my work has been influenced by the wonderful Devon scenery and unique light. I work in oils on canvas and the paintings depict rolling hills, moorland, river estuaries ,coastlines, clouds and sunsets.
Now I’ve retired I’ve started painting still life’s. Flowers, vases, watering cans etc!
