Artist statement
Living and working on the North Devon coast provides endless inspiration for my paintings. Using oils and expressive brushwork, I explore the colours, light and atmosphere of the landscape around me. My work is rooted in observation but shaped by memory, feelings and a joyful approach to palette mixing.
