Artist statement
Due to unforeseen circumstances Melissa will no longer be exhibiting at 65 Punchards down, Follaton, Totnes.
Instead she will have work at 'Despina Ceramics' Venue PS17, Unit L Pottery Studio, Scope Complex, Totnes Industrial Estate, TQ9 5XN.
Displayed will be ceramic bee and insect waterers along with a photo display of mosaic installation.
Extended Bio
Delving into areas of mosaic, woodwork, sign making, ceramics, metalwork, watercolour pencil and more, Melissa explores ways we can bring the Art of the hand-made in to our daily lives.
Inspired by patterns and shapes we find throughout our natural world her work aims to reflect something of the unseen but heartfelt forces which permeate our world and beyond.
