Artist statement
I came into ceramics by chance. Having been a florist for 25 years, and on retirement picked up a book on Pottery and loved the idea of making my own mugs. So this is where my pottery journey started. I hand throw on the wheel functional pieces with white Earthenware Clay. I brush on the glazes so I can get the depth of colour I desire.
